Okay, a lot has happened; we’re going to run a quick two-minute drill here and take you all through it. Hopefully we score here. I’m kidding. Sort of.

The Los Angeles Rams stole placekicker Blake Grupe off the New York Jets’ practice squad. In a corresponding roster move, they released Harrison Mevis. Should we counter by taking Mevis in this kicker war? It wouldn’t be a bad idea to have some Jason Sanders insurance, just in case. By the way, how good has he been, huh? *Knocks on wood*

The Jets worked out big-name pass rusher Matthew Judon. They haven’t signed him as of now, but curious timing. A potential brain drain situation ahead of the New England Patriots game? Is this a sign of looming bad injury news? Was this just a random workout? All of that is possible; we will have to wait and see.

Before this eight-sack explosion in Week 5, the Jets’ front four hadn’t generated a sack in two weeks. Maybe it’s just doing homework for some possible depth.

The green and white could be getting some guys back. Omar Cooper Jr is eligible to be activated off injured reserve. Could he be on track to possibly return? God, I hope so.

“We’ve signed EDGE Quinton Bell to the practice squad. We released LB Troy Reeder from the active roster and TE Cody Hardy from the practice squad,” the Jets announced on their official X account.
