RIVERDALE, NY — In an exciting new era for Manhattan Athletics, the university’s Acrobatics and Tumbling program has officially announced its first-ever schedule, with first-year head coach Hallie Fowler leading her group of over 30 young student-athletes starting in February 2027.

“There are 32 women on this team that are so eager to show to the Manhattan community what Acrobatics and Tumbling is all about,” Fowler said. “We are putting the work in now to be competitive with the best teams in the nation.”

Despite being in its first season, Fowler and the team will be taking on one of the most daunting schedules in the country. The Jaspers will take on three of last year’s National Championship qualifiers in their seven competitions.

The Jaspers open up action on Saturday, Feb. 6 in Baltimore, Maryland, taking on Morgan State before visiting 2025 national quarter-finalists and nearby foe Iona on Monday, Feb. 15 in New Rochelle.

Following their two season-opening road contests, Manhattan opens up its home schedule at Draddy Gymnasium, taking on Canisius on Sunday, February 21 at 1 p.m. in the first of four home contests.

The Jaspers finish out their road portion of the schedule visiting La Salle on Sunday, February 28.

To conclude the regular season, Manhattan will host inside Draddy three consecutive times. The Green and White host the defending national champions Baylor at 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 7 in Riverdale. Baylor has won each of the last 10 National Collegiate Acrobatics and Tumbling national titles. A defending national champion has never played a game at Manhattan in any sport throughout the 21st century.

Manhattan’s homestand continues Saturday, March 27, hosting Long Island at 7 p.m.., before closing out the schedule hosting national runners up Quinnipiac on Friday, April 7 at 6 p.m..

“Bringing a team to Draddy like Baylor will be something special,” Fowler continued. “Finishing the season with Quinnipiac will is equally as special for a first-year team.”

Manhattan joins Baylor, Quinnipiac and Long Island as schools with only Division I opponents on their schedules.

The season concludes with the first-ever NCAA Championships April 22-25.
