Old Man Gloom have announced a rare live performance supporting High On Fire at Saint Vitus in Brooklyn, NY, on November 2nd.
The post-metal supergroup, featuring members of Converge, Cave In, Neurosis and SUMAC, have performed only a handful of shows in 2026. No additional performances have been announced.
High On Fire are also scheduled to perform at Saint Vitus on October 31st.
Old Man Gloom drummer Santos Montano shared the following:
I was in advanced talks to host a once a month event at St Vitus where I brought in 17 couches, we all order dominos and watch full episodes of Headbangers ball from the early 90’s, commercials and all, but the stingy tightwads at Vitus wouldn’t accommodate my budget and I refuse to charge more than $320 a ticket, so instead we compromised on a regular old show where we play songs.
This may well be the only gloomery for a while, so get on In here! Tickets on sale at noon today! Which is…Wednesday? I took the trash out and thought it was Tuesday, so yeah, it’s Wednesday. Oh, and @highonfireband will be making everyone forget we just played because they’re awesome. YES.
