A 68-year-old man was beaten by two men at a Bronx grocery store — one of the suspects a store employee who thought the victim was shoplifting, cops said Thursday.

The victim told police that he was shopping at Fine Fare Supermarket on E.  167th St. near Gerard Ave. in Highbridge when the worker accused him of stealing just before 6 p.m. on Sept. 21.

An argument ensued that ended with the worker and another man pummeling the victim, punching him multiple times.

The victim refused medical attention.

The NYPD on Thursday released images of two suspects and is asking for the public’s help tracking them down.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
