You may know George Shea as the voice behind the Nathan’s Famous Fourth of July hot dog-eating contest.

Now, the Major League Eating commissioner is using his voice to encourage New Yorkers to be more considerate of one another.

In a series of social media videos, Shea weighs in on everything from oversized water bottles to keeping sidewalks clean and improving cyclist behavior.

Shea says New York City’s streets have become chaotic and that more needs to be done to make them safer for pedestrians and cyclists.

He joined “Mornings On 1” Friday to discuss his campaign for better street etiquette.
