PEORIA (25News Now) – A taste of Peoria is headed to New York City next month for the seventh annual Bagel Fest.
Brightside Kitchen’s Bright-O Bagels is taking its talents to New York City on November 14 for Bagel Up’s second Growth Lab for up-and-coming bagel businesses.
Bright-O Bagels was one of eight businesses chosen to present its bagels in an intimate setting to a group of industry experts, known as breadheads, to get feedback on its products.
Bright-O Bagels plans to showcase products that have become staples for the Peoria area bagel connoisseur.
“To be able to bring a piece of Peoria to a crowd of people in New York City, I’m excited. So to represent Peoria is something that I want Bright Side Kitchen to do and Bright O’Bagels to be a part of that as well,” said Josh Lanning, chef and owner of Brightside Kitchen.
Brightside Kitchen (Bright-O, BrightBelly, BrightBird) is located at 106 E McClure Ave. in Peoria.
