HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (WABC) — A 23-year-old motorcyclist was hospitalized in critical condition after a crash in Hempstead on Friday night, according to police.
Detectives said the man was riding a motorcycle on Fulton Avenue at about 9 p.m. Friday when he collided with a Kia.
Police said the motorcyclist suffered critical injuries and was taken to a hospital.
The 22-year-old woman driving the Kia also was injured. Authorities said she suffered minor injuries and was transported to a hospital.
The investigation is ongoing.
