PHOTOS: 93rd Texas Rose Festival Queen’s Coronation 2026
Published 8:30 am Sunday, October 18, 2026
“Celebrations Through the Seasons” came to life on the UT Tyler Cowan Center stage on Friday as 93rd Texas Rose Festival Queen Claire Ann Malone and her court made their debut.
Audience members sat in awe at the Rose Queen’s Coronation as Queen Malone, Princess Brynn Eve Ballard, Duchess of the Rose Growers Emmy Elizabeth Brewer and the rest of the court graced the stage, showing off their wildly intricate costumes. Designed by Jacob A. Climer, each gown and costume followed the festival’s theme with a seasonal-inspired elegance. The Queen, Princess and Duchess of the Rose Growers were joined by the Ladies-in-Waiting, out-of-town Duchesses, all of their Escorts, plus the young Attendants.
A matinee showing was held in the afternoon followed by the evening coronation.
The coronation remains one of the most anticipated traditions of the annual festival, which celebrates Tyler’s floral heritage and community spirit. The festivities continue Saturday with the Rose Parade beginning at 9 a.m.. and the Queen’s Tea from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Tyler Rose Garden (420 Rose Park Dr.)
