WRGB Studios-Schenectady, NY — Election Day is just a few weeks away, and in New York State Assembly District 107, Democratic nominee Chloe Pierce is challenging Republican incumbent Scott Bendett.

It’s the second time the two are facing off, as Pierce challenged Bendett in 2024, with Bendett winning that race 39,770-35,433. Bendett is looking for his third term in the New York State Assembly.

Both sat down with CBS6’s Tom Eschen on Power & Politics.

Bendett spoke of his time in office, while addressing issues like energy costs, State spending, immigration enforcement, Flock cameras and more:

Pierce discussed her background, while addressing issues like affordability, taxes, data centers, public safety, immigration and more.
