NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — In response to skyrocketing rates from Con Edison and other power companies, New York City is rolling out a program to provide some relief to customers.

The City has already begun to contact thousands of New Yorkers about the Enhanced Energy Affordability Program. This free program could help eligible households save up to $33 a month on electric bills and up to $135 on gas bills.
