Paul Rudd couldn’t help but stop by the Brooklyn toy store everyone has been talking about.
On Wednesday, Oct. 21, the Ant-Man star was spotted window shopping at Art of Play, the curiosity store located in the Brooklyn Heights neighborhood that received a few negative comments from Kelly Clarkson.
Within recent photographs obtained by People, Rudd, wearing a black zip-up hoodie and a grey pair of joggers, had stopped by the shop and peeked in from the outside for a few moments before continuing his walk.
Art of Play has been attracting a lot of attention ever since the “Stronger” singer took to X to recall her experience at the curiosity store. As she considered purchasing an item, she reportedly “was looked at as if I couldn’t afford” it and was told an employee could “find something comparable.”

“Wow, dude. You’re an idiot and just lost a huge sale,” she wrote. “But y’all should go check out Art of Play in Brooklyn if you enjoy being treated like Julia Roberts character in Pretty Woman. For sure, check it out.”
Just a day after the singer’s post, Art of Play’s team responded to the claims on Instagram, saying she had “misunderstood” her experience.
According to the store, Clarkson had attempted to buy “Molly,” a one-of-a-kind singing and dancing bird automaton “who plays an important role in the magic shows we host here.
“Molly is permanently attached to the wall and isn’t for sale,” the store clarified. “However, the negative experience Kelly described on twitter would resonate with anyone who has ever felt judged in a shop.”
Although they expressed hope to “clear things up with Kelly someday,” the singer wasn’t interested as she blasted their “narrative” in a separate tweet.
