Everybody’s favorite Christmas movie Elf, will soon come to life in NYC at The Elf Experience at Rockefeller Center.
Your family can step right into Buddy’s world this holiday season, and where better to do it than in midtown Manhattan, exactly where Buddy himself lived and worked.
This November, families can actually walk into the world of Buddy the Elf when The Elf Experience opens at HERO in Rockefeller Center.
The new experience takes some of the most recognizable places from the movie and turns them into a walk-through holiday adventure for you and your kids, so you can feel what it’s like to be in the Candy Cane Forest, Sea of Swirly Twirly Gumdrops, Santa’s Toy Workshop, and of course, the North Pole.

What Families Can Expect at The Elf Experience
The experience begins with a visit from one of Santa’s helpers, who leads you right into Papa Elf’s storybook. You’ll then follow a journey to the North Pole and get a look at how the elves live, work, and play.
The trip takes you through several different environments inspired by the movie, with interactive activities and holiday treats.
And just like the movie, eventually, the journey brings you back to New York City and Gimbels, the store where Buddy worked.
One cool thing to know is that the artists who worked on the original movie are part of the project along with new artists inspired by the film, who make the experience as much fun as the movie itself. Kids can explore miniature scenes, experience visual tricks that make things look bigger or smaller, spinning animation displays, and moving figures throughout.
