The 2027 Perfecth World Tour kicks off in the spring
Queens of the Stone Age will support their soon-to-be-released album Perfecth on a 2027 tour. Beginning May 1st at San Diego’s Viejas Arena, they will bring their unforgettable live set to venues such as Kia Forum in Los Angeles and TD Garden in Boston, and will also stage outdoor shows at Red Rocks and American Family Insurance Amp in Milwaukee. Pixies and Wheelchair Sports Camp will support on all dates.
Presales start on Wednesday, October 28th, ahead of the general sale on Thursday, October 29th, at 10 am local time.
The newly announced dates will follow previously announced stops in Iceland, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore and at Lollapalooza’s three Latin American editions. More headlining shows in the new year will be announced in the coming weeks.
Last night (Wed, Oct 21st), the band returned to NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for the live debut of “Where the Goth Girls At?” off their forthcoming release Perfecth, coming October 30th via Matador Records. It follows previously released Perfecth songs “Insignificant Other,” and the Nikki Lane-featuring “Easy Street.”
This year Halloween becomes HalloQueen, as the band will celebrate the release of Perfecth with HalloQueen retail events around the world on October 31st. Costumes are encouraged! Hear the new album, grab some exclusive goodies and purchase a newly announced, very limited-edition Perfecth picture disc while supplies last at participating HalloQueen retailers.
Perfecth was produced by Homme and band member Michael Shuman. It was made in the spirit of Kintsugi — the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by filling its cracks with gold, which holds that what has been shattered is made more beautiful, not less, by the act of repair. It’s an album that could only have been made right now thanks to band members taking significant evolutionary steps as a collective and arriving at hard-won clarity. Its nine songs map different forms of love: of family, friends, and others, both significant and insignificant. The loves that break you beyond survival and the loves that put you back together.
