Reflecting on the honor and her career in education, Hayes shared what the recognition means to her, saying, “I’ve been affiliated with New York State ever since I was a young professional, and they’ve helped me grow and flourish. And, you know, I really believe in paying it forward and giving back to others. And so I’m honored to be able to work with great professional lives and colleagues to enhance, you know, what’s best for students in the world of wellness.”
