The final preparations are underway today to make sure dozens of polling sites are ready to welcome early voters across Long Island starting tomorrow.
The early voting period runs from Saturday, Oct. 24 through Sunday, Nov. 1.
The deadline to register to vote is also tomorrow.
Unlike day-of voting, voters in Nassau and Suffolk counties aren’t assigned a specific location. Instead, you can go to whatever location is most convenient for you during these nine days.
Polling times and locations vary by county.
Voters going on Election Day will have to cast their ballots at their assigned polling site.
