A 6-year-old girl is recovering after a falling brick from a building hit her in the head in Queens on Thursday, officials say.
Police say officers responded to the Maspeth scene for a call about a girl with a head injury shortly before 8 p.m. She is expected to be OK.
It’s not clear why or how the brick fell.
The Department of Buildings is investigating.
