ORLANDO, Fla. (Oct. 24, 2026) — Orlando City SC (12-13-6, 42 points) played to a 2-2 draw with New York City FC (8-12-11, 35 points) on Saturday night at Inter.co Stadium.
The visitors opened the scoring in the 18th minute when Alonso Martínez met a cross from the left wing, slipping between Iago and Maxime Crépeau to finish from close range.
Orlando City equalized in the 32nd minute when Antoine Griezmann headed in Martín Ojeda’s cross from the left wing. The goal extended Griezmann’s streak of consecutive MLS matches with a goal contribution to 11, one shy of Martín Ojeda’s club record set last season. Ojeda’s assist was his 47th across all competitions, tying former captain Mauricio Pereyra for the most in club history.
Ojeda then gave Orlando the lead in the 49th minute. Iván Angulo delivered a cross from the right wing and Vinícius Nogueira headed the ball back into danger to keep the attack alive. Ojeda met it at the top of the box and finished clinically to become the first player in club history to reach 50 goals in all competitions.
New York City equalized in the 10th minute of second-half stoppage time when Jonathan Shore scored from long range to secure the 2-2 draw.
Orlando City enters its final three games of the regular season with a two-game road trip beginning Wednesday, Oct. 28, against Chicago Fire FC at Soldier Field (8:30 p.m. ET | Apple TV) before traveling to Charlotte FC on Saturday, Oct. 31.

Interim Head Coach Martín Perelman:
[T]he game was tough. Again, it wasn’t our best night, and that’s it. Unfortunately, they tied on the last play. That hurts a lot. But it’s time to digest it. We are used to being at home. We came from, I think, [9 wins] and two [draws] since we’ve been here, so now it’s [9]-3. We like to win at home. We don’t like this, and we do our best. Sometimes these things happen. The opponent plays. They had good players, and that’s it.”
Defender Vinícius Nogueira:
“A really good feeling today, my first assist for the team, and it’s a really important point for us. Of course, we wanted to get the three points, and we fought for that, but now we focus on the next game and the next three points.”
Midfielder Braian Ojeda (Interpreted from Spanish):
“Yeah, I’m happy, obviously, because I returned to the starting lineup. But I’m also frustrated at the same time because [New York City FC] was able to tie the match late. And we have to keep going. Now we have to keep working hard, keep training hard and keep looking ahead to the matches we have left to finish out the regular season.”
