DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN (WABC) — An 80-year-old mother and her 52-year-old son were discovered dead inside a Downtown Brooklyn apartment.
Residents called reporting a foul odor in the Jay Street apartment just before 1 p.m. Wednesday.
Both were pronounced dead on the scene and appeared to be dead for some time.
The mother had died first and was in an advanced stage of decomposition.
Neither had any trauma and there is no criminality suspected in their deaths.
Few other details were known.
