We thought the answer might be yes 🙂
Blue October have been such great friends to WRRV over the years. Justin alone has graced the Sessions stage at Newburgh Brewing Company several times, plus the Bardavon shows with the band, and the solo I Laugh At Myself open book shows – we’ve been lucky enough to team up with the band and/or Justin quite a few times.
With Blue October set to play two New York shows next week (11/4 Palladium NYC, 11/6 The Egg Albany), we knew we needed to do something….and then my phone rang…

I hope you heard Justin and I catching up on the air on WRRV Thursday afternoon. Sharing stories and chatting about what the game plan is for NYC on November 4th.
Blue October & WRRV Over The Years
The last time we got to hang with Justin was in March of 2025 at the Bardavon for the I Laugh at Myself open book tour. A night full of laughs, tears, stories and great music:

Before that visit, back in 2023 we welcomed Justin back to the taproom for a packed house solo performance at WRRV Sessions.

These days, Blue October is out on the road celebrating 20 years of that VERY popular album that they never actually toured way back in the day. Palladium Times Square is the place to be on Wednesday, November 4th for The Foiled 20th Anniversary World Tour. Attendees will have the chance to hear the entire Foiled album top to bottom.
Blue October Invites WRRV Listeners to NYC
So, with Blue October set to return to NY, they’ve been so gracious to invite WRRV and our listeners to join them on Wednesday 11/4 ahead of their gig at the Palladium for some pre-show fun. You may even have the chance to hang with these two crazy kids…
