STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The Department of Transportation Roadway Repair and Maintenance Division will conduct roadway repair and maintenance work throughout Staten Island during the week of Monday, Nov. 2.
The department’s in-house milling and paving crew will work both daytime and nighttime shifts within Community Board 2. Maintenance crews will also operate around the clock across multiple Community Boards throughout the borough.
No work is scheduled for Nov. 3 in observance of Election Day.
The work may result in temporary detours and street closures in affected areas. The department said the repairs are essential to maintaining safe and efficient roadways.
