A Staten Island dog named Martini is making national headlines after winning a local Halloween costume contest dressed as country music legend Dolly Parton. According to the Staten Island Advance, Martini and her owner, Aliyah Reid, appeared on ABC’s “Good Morning America” after a photo of the costume caught producers’ attention. Nicknamed “Doggy Parton,” Martini wore a custom cowboy outfit, blonde wig and miniature desk inspired by Parton’s hit song and movie “9 to 5.” Reid revealed that her father built the desk and explained that the family’s annual costume tradition is about making people smile. Martini even lost her wig during the television appearance.
