Election Day is finally here in New York City.
New Yorkers across the state are making their picks for governor, attorney general and state comptroller. U.S. House, state Assembly and state Senate seats are also on the ballot.
In the five boroughs, there are also five ballot questions, which were crafted by Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s Charter Commission on Government Efficiency, also known as COGE.
Over the course of the nine-day early voting period, 690,526 of city voters cast their ballots. This marks a nearly 60% increase in early voting turnout compared to the last governor’s race in 2022, according to the city’s Board of Elections.
Voters have until 9 p.m. to cast their ballot.
