TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – A Manhattan man was arrested in connection with several charges including aggravated battery.
According to the Riley County Police Department, officers reported the incident on Thursday, Nov. 13 around 2:01 p.m.
A 45-year-old woman was listed as the victim.
The suspect, 53-year-old Dirk Sparks, of Manhattan, was arrested around 2:14 p.m. in connection with the following charges:
Criminal threat Aggravated burglaryCriminal restraintAssaultTwo counts of domestic battery
Sparks was booked into the Riley County Jail.
He remains there under a $30,000 bond.
