The New York state Board of Regents is considering a proposal that would require all high school students earn a minimum of one credit in “Career and Technical Education” (CTE) before they graduate.
If approved, the state’s Boards of Cooperative Educational Services, or BOCES, say they are ready to step up and help students meet the new demand.
