STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.— The McKee/Staten Island Tech Seagulls’ season came to an end on Saturday afternoon, as the No. 3 seed in the PSAL 3A playoffs suffered a heavy 34–0 defeat to No. 6 Frank J. Macchiarola on home turf.
MSIT finishes the year at 5–6, an improvement from last season’s 3–4 mark in the 4A division. Although the loss to the Sharks was far from the outcome head coach Chris App Jr. envisioned, he said he remained proud of his team for continuing to fight through adversity.
