REGO PARK, Queens (PIX11) — An affordable housing lottery with units starting as low as $545 a month has opened in Rego Park.
The lottery includes newly built studio, one- and two-bedroom units at an apartment building at 68-19 Woodhaven Boulevard.
The property is listed on the NYC Housing Connect website, an online portal where people can find and apply for affordable housing opportunities in New York City.
Woodhaven Boulevard Apartments has 9 studios available for $545 a month. A person or a household of two with an annual household income between $22,492 and $34,020 qualifies.
There are seven one-bedroom apartments available for $693 a month. A single person or a household of three making between $28,116 and $43,740 qualifies.
There are also five two-bedroom apartments available for $814 a month. A household of two to five people making between $33,738 and $52,500 qualifies.
