NEW YORK (PIX11) – Three New York lottery players got lucky in Saturday’s drawing.
Three players bought third-prize-winning Powerball tickets worth $50,000 across New York state.
In New York City, one of the tickets was sold at Always Sunny Grocery in Sunnyside. The other two tickets were sold in Bohemia and Middletown.
Thousands of other New Yorkers took home smaller Powerball prizes ranging from $4 to $100. No one won the jackpot, which is now up to $570 million ahead of the next drawing on Monday.
It’s the biggest jackpot right now. Mega Millions is only at $50 million and New York Lotto is at $10 million.
Earlier this month, a lottery player in Rochester won $10 million with a scratch-off ticket.
