MOTT HAVEN, The Bronx (WABC) — Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed in the Bronx on Wednesday.

Officers responded to 79 Alexander Ave. in the Mott Haven section around 5:50 p.m. for reports of a person shot.

They discovered a 27-year-old man shot multiple times throughout the body.

He was taken to Lincoln Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police sources say the victim was leaving his parole office when the shooting took place.

Officials say three suspects were last seen traveling eastbound on East 132ndStreet.

There are no arrests, and the investigation remains ongoing.
