NEW YORK (PIX11) — Some New York City Public School students will get an early start to their weekends heading into Thanksgiving week.
Students of certain schools will be dismissed three hours early for afternoon parent-teacher conferences on Friday.
High schools, K-12 and 6-12 schools will be dismissing students early.
Parents won’t have to look too far ahead for the next round of days off. Students will be off for Thanksgiving and Black Friday, Nov. 27 and Nov. 28.
New York City may not be the most pleasant place to drive this holiday season either, according to the Department of Transportation. For a full list of gridlock alert days, click here.
