President Donald Trump told a female reporter to be “quiet, piggy” after she asked him about the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files, the Daily Mail reported.
The exchange happened during a press conference aboard Air Force One on Friday.
Catherine Lucey, a reporter for Bloomberg, appeared to ask Trump a question about Epstein when the president began to wave a finger in Lucey’s face.
Trump snapped: “Quiet, quiet piggy.”
Trump had another run-in with Lucey on Sunday, when the Bloomberg scribe asked him about Tucker Carlson’s interview with white nationalist Nick Fuentes.
Trump has been speaking with reporters outside Air Force One when Lucey interjected with a question.
Trump said: “Will you let me finish my statement?”
The president went on: “You are the worst. You are with Bloomberg, right? You are the worst. I don’t know why they even have you.”
Trump has come under increasing pressure from his MAGA base to release all government files related to Epstein, the child sex offender who died by suicide in jail in 2019.
The White House for months has resisted bipartisan efforts in Congress to release the files. Trump has called the Epstein issue a Democratic hoax.
Trump has slammed his fellow Republicans by saying that “only a very bad, or stupid, Republican would fall into that trap.”
The MAGA civil war over Epstein exploded into public view over the weekend, when Trump called MAGA firebrand Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia a “traitor” for voting for the administration to release the files.
But with Democrats and some Republicans teeing up a vote to release the information, Trump changed course and told House Republicans to agree to release the files.
The president said that “we have nothing to hide” and that “it’s time to move on from this Democrat Hoax.”
