They didn’t make it easy on themselves, but in the end the Celtics ran away with a 113-99 victory over the Nets at Barclays Center on Tuesday night.

It was the second consecutive game Boston pulled out in crunch time.

The Celtics held the Nets without a field goal for seven-plus minutes in the fourth quarter and went on an 18-3 run over a five-minute stretch. The clutch contributions from Jaylen Brown, Derrick White and Sam Hauser helped Boston pull away after a season-high 20 turnovers kept the game closer than it needed to be.

With their third consecutive win, and their fourth victory in the last five games, the C’s own a record better than .500 for the first time this season.
