Kevin Spacey claims he’s living out of suitcases and struggling financially nearly a decade after sexual misconduct allegations halted his Hollywood career, NBC News reports.

The two-time Oscar winner described his financial situation as “not great” in an interview published Wednesday in The Telegraph. Spacey, 66, said he lost his Baltimore home to foreclosure and now moves between temporary lodgings.

“I’m living in hotels, I’m living in Airbnbs, I’m going where the work is,” Spacey said. “I literally have no home, that’s what I’m attempting to explain.”

Spacey spoke to the British newspaper while performing standards at a nightclub in Cyprus.

According to NBC News, the actor has been unable to land major roles since 2017, when actor Anthony Rapp told BuzzFeed that Spacey made a sexual advance on him in 1986.

Rapp was 14 at the time, while Spacey would have been 26. A civil jury later sided with Spacey over Rapp’s allegations, but others came forward with accusations of improper behavior.

Spacey admitted to “being too handsy” and “touching someone sexually in a way that I didn’t know at the time they didn’t want.”

The “American Beauty” star was fired from the critically acclaimed Netflix show “House of Cards” when Rapp’s allegations surfaced during the height of the #MeToo movement, the report said.

In the Telegraph interview, Spacey compared himself to writers caught up in the Hollywood blacklist era and suggested it would take just one prominent ally to revive his career.

“So, my feeling is if Martin Scorsese or Quentin Tarantino call Evan Lowenstein, my manager, tomorrow, it will be over,” Spacey said. “I will be incredibly honored and delighted when that level of talent picks up the phone.”
