A man is dead after being stabbed in Midtown Manhattan.
It happened just after 1 a.m. Monday at West 49th Street and Seventh Avenue, near Times Square.
Police sources said the victim, a 23-year-old man, was beaten with a baseball bat and stabbed.
He was taken to Bellevue Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Video from the scene shows a knife on the ground.
It’s not clear yet what led up to the stabbing.

Sources tell CBS News New York police are looking for three suspects, one of whom was wearing a purple hoodie.
So far, there have been no arrests.
“It’s a little disturbing to hear people are getting stabbed. Not what I want to hear my first time in New York, actually,” a tourist from San Francisco said.
