Brandin Cooks has a new employer.
The veteran wide receiver signed to the Bills’ active roster on Tuesday.
Cooks, 32, was waived by the Saints over the weekend and cleared waivers Monday before joining the pass-catcher-needy Bills ahead of Week 13.
He had reportedly requested to be released by New Orleans earlier this month.

A first-round pick by the Saints in 2014, the Bills will be the sixth team Cooks has played for during his 12-year NFL career.
He’s made 729 receptions for 9,697 yards with 62 total touchdowns during his time in the league.
But he didn’t do much in his return to New Orleans this season, catching just 19 passes for 165 yards in 10 appearances without a score.
He joins a depleted and struggling wide receiver room in Buffalo.
Before last week’s Thursday night loss to the Texans, the Bills placed Mecole Hardman on injured reserve with a calf injury and elevated Gabe Davis from the practice squad.

Tight end Dalton Kincaid and wide receiver Curtis Samuel also missed the game with injuries.
Keon Coleman, whom the Bills traded up to land in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft, was benched for a second straight game after being late to a meeting earlier this month.
As a whole, the Bills’ offense hasn’t looked like its usual self.
In two of their last three games, the Bills have scored fewer than 20 points.

Buffalo surprisingly finds itself fighting for a playoff spot.
Since starting 4-0, Josh Allen and Co. have gone 3-4 over the last seven games.
If the season ended today, the Bills would get the third and final AFC wild-card spot.
