GREENWOOD HEIGHTS — POLICE ARE SEARCHING for a man who allegedly grabbed medicine off the counter of a bodega in Greenwood Heights and then attacked a 39-year-old person who tried, unsuccessfully, to retrieve the medicine. According to authorities, the incident took place last Thursday morning around 8:50 a.m. at 938 Fourth Ave. near 35th Street, not far from The Green-Wood Cemetery. The suspect punched the victim multiple times in the face and then fled on foot, traveling southbound on Fourth Avenue. EMS treated the victim on scene. Police supplied a surveillance photo of the suspect.Â
