It’s that time of year again when giant balloons, dazzling floats, marching bands, and festive cheer fill the streets of Manhattan.

The 99th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is set to roll on Thursday, Nov. 27. The parade kicks off at 8:30 a.m., departing from 77th Street and Central Park West and making its way to Macy’s Herald Square at 34th Street.

While many New Yorkers bundle up and stake out spots along the 2.5-mile route, others prefer to stay cozy at home and stream the iconic holiday event. Audiences nationwide can watch the parade live on NBC and Peacock, with the broadcast starting at 8:30 a.m. in all time zones.

But for those who can’t access NBC — or who want to watch the parade without commentary — there’s another option.

How to stream the parade

While NBC carries the official broadcast for the 99th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, viewers can also watch the parade live through EarthCam.

The service offers live coverage via public street cameras along parts of the parade route. The stream is available for free on YouTube and EarthCam’s website. The stream can also be accessed through two apps: Webcams and EarthCam TV2.

If you’d rather skip the crowds and still catch the streets come alive, stay tuned on EarthCam at 8:30 a.m. to watch the parade begin in real time, bringing the excitement of Manhattan’s holiday tradition right to your living room.
