St. Lawrence County residents can get an early start on summer fun with a special holiday ticket sale for the 2026 Great New York State Fair. Beginning at 9 a.m. Friday, Nov. 28, and running through Cyber Monday, Dec. 1, or until 10,000 tickets are sold, the Fair is offering a “buy one, get one free” deal on admission.

The promotion provides the Fair’s lowest-priced tickets of the year: $8 per ticket, plus minimal fees, with a limit of 10 tickets per customer. Children 12 and under and seniors 65 and older continue to receive free daily admission.

Fair Director Julie LaFave said the sale offers families a budget-friendly way to plan ahead for an unforgettable summer experience. “As the most affordable fair in the country, we’re proud to make the excitement, fun, and tradition of The Fair accessible to everyone. It’s a great way to celebrate the season while giving families something to look forward to next summer,” she said.

For St. Lawrence County residents, the Fair offers a full day of entertainment, from agricultural exhibits and live concerts to thrilling rides and iconic fair foods. All concerts and major attractions are included with admission, making it one of the best values in the nation.

Tickets for the holiday sale are available online at The Fair’s website or through Etix. Updates are posted on The Fair’s Facebook and Instagram pages.

Founded in 1841, the Great New York State Fair is the oldest state fair in the U.S. and consistently ranks among the nation’s top five. It showcases New York agriculture, supports the Central New York economy through tourism, and provides entertainment for visitors of all ages.

The 2026 Fair runs Wednesday, Aug. 26, through Monday, Sept. 7, offering St. Lawrence County families a chance to plan ahead and double the fun with the holiday ticket deal.
