FLUSHING, Queens (PIX11) — A Queens spa is under investigation after customers reported finding cameras hidden in the locker rooms and above massage tables, police confirmed to PIX11 News on Wednesday.
A customer of the spa, located on 136-20 Booth Memorial Ave. in Flushing, shared with PIX11 video footage of what appeared to be a camera placed in the ceiling above a massage table. The video was taken on Nov. 8 around 2 p.m.
In one of two videos sent to PIX11, the customer tells the spa workers, “The camera is right here, I’m not stupid…so what is the purpose? That is illegal.” A worker responds, “I don’t know, what’s this?”
In the second video, an NYPD officer is with the customer, but the camera that was above the massage table is gone. The video footage shows a hole where the camera was.

“Why was there a camera there? There was a camera there, where’s the camera?” the officer asks a worker.
The spa did not respond to PIX11’s request for comment.
