NEW YORK (PIX11) — A mix of rain and snow is expected to make for a slushy commute during the week in New York and New Jersey.
Forecasters from the National Weather Service are warning of a coastal storm that may bring wet conditions to the morning and evening commutes on Tuesday.
New Yorkers in Manhattan, on Staten Island, in Westchester, and the Hudson Valley are expected to get the bulk of the rain and snow as well as residents in northeast New Jersey.
So far, the National Weather Service predicts the bulk of the downpour between the hours of 1 p.m. and 1 a.m. on Tuesday, with as much as 0.25 inches of snow expected.
