Oasis has wrapped up its “Live ’25” reunion tour with a final performance in São Paulo, Brazil, and announced that the band will be taking a break to reflect on the journey, NME is reporting.
The band’s 41-date tour kicked off July 4 in Cardiff, England, and traveled through Europe, Asia, Australia and the Americas.
“And so it came to pass,” the band penned in a post on Instagram. “‘The most damaging pop cultural force in recent British history’ found its way into the hearts and minds of a new generation… the love, joy, tears and euphoria will never be forgotten … there will now be a pause for a period of reflection,” they said.
The final show marked the second of two São Paulo dates, with the band playing through the same 23 song setlist throughout all 41 performances.
A moment between brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher captured attention when the frontman handed his brother a tambourine and maracas before the pair embraced.
The Gallagher brothers, whose infamously strained relationship led to the band’s 2009 breakup, have shared hugs and jokes on stage throughout the reunion tour.
Earlier in the month, Liam Gallagher teased the possibility of future Oasis shows in a social media post: “You will see me next year and the year after and so on just not sure yet if it’ll be with Oasis,” he wrote. “We need to sit down and discuss these things. If it was all up to me, then you know we’d be touring till the day we die, as it’s the best thing in the world but UNFORTUNATELY, it’s not.”
