STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Damien Hurstel, 19, is accused of stabbing his mother’s long-time boyfriend to death and beheading him. He is scheduled to appear before Judge Alexander B. Jeong in Criminal Court, St. George, on Friday.
A Staten Island grand jury indicted Hurstel on charges that include second-degree murder and concealment of a human corpse in connection with the slaying on Monday, Oct. 6, inside the family’s West Brighton home.
