Police are probing a possible arson attack on a West Village business after an unknown object was hurled through the window and sparked a fire early Wednesday.

Roughly six suspects were spotted tossing the object after breaking the window of the Christopher Street shopfront just after 3 a.m., cops said.

Fire crews quickly responded to the scene following reports a small blaze broke out inside the building, which houses both a barbers and a smoke shop.

The bomb squad was on the scene early Wednesday as police investigate whether it was arson.

It wasn’t immediately clear what type of object was thrown, fire department sources said.

The fire marshal will determine the exact cause of the blaze, according to police.

The suspects, meanwhile, were spotted fleeing the scene on foot, cops said.

No arrests have been made.
