If looks could kill …

Should we throw a party? Should we invite Bella Hadid? That’s essentially what Ryan Murphy did for his upcoming FX series, The Beauty, which shared a first looks at its packed cast on December 3. According to an official synopsis of the 11-episode show, international supermodels are dying in mysterious and gruesome ways when FBI investigations eventually uncover “a sexually transmitted virus that transforms ordinary people into visions of physical perfection but with terrifying consequences.” While details about Hadid’s character and how she fits into the plot haven’t been confirmed, she looks stunning in her preview pic.

Evan Peters and Rebecca Hall lead the cast as FBI agents who come to Paris to investigate these high-fashion deaths. Along the way, they’ll run into Ashton Kutcher as “the Corporation,” a tech billionaire who has secretly engineered a miracle drug called “the Beauty” and hired “the Assassin,” played by Anthony Ramos, to protect his business empire. (We’re eager to learn “the Reason” for this naming convention.) Jeremy Pope will play Jeremy, an outsider who is “caught in the chaos.” Hadid is part of a long list of guest stars who can relate to having famous family members, including beloved nepo babies Ben Platt, Isabella Rossellini, Amelia Gray Hamlin, and Nicola Peltz Beckham — and even nepo sister Lux Pascal. The full cast also includes Ari Graynor, Billy Eichner, Jaquel Spivey, Jessica Alexander, Jon Jon Briones, John Carroll Lynch, Julie Halston, Meghan Trainor, Peter Gallagher, and Vincent D’Onofrio. Starting with a three-episode premiere on January 21 at 9 p.m. ET, The Beauty will be in the eye of the beholder (specially, FX and Hulu viewers) every Wednesday.
