The Manhattan Beach Pier is lit up once again for the winter holidays.
The city celebrated its 35th Annual Pier Lighting and 30th annual Holiday Open House in mid-November, setting off the South Bay beach cities’ Christmas and winter holiday season.

Lights are strung along the turquoise railings, and the roof of the Roundhosue Aquarium at the very end of the pier is dressed like a Christmas tree — even donning a star on top. When the sun sets, the green and gold gleams reflect off of the ocean, illuminating the area even more.
Although the event crowd has cleared the area, pier-goers will still walk along the festively decorated pedestrian wharf all month long.
