Is New York State Impacted By This Egg Recall?

For those looking to get their own chickens to produce their own eggs, I wish you luck and patience. We started out with 6 chickens are now down to 5 after one of them turned out to be a rooster! The chickens are not laying eggs yet. We got them in June and, fingers crossed, they will start to lay eggs someday soon! However, I am told that they lay less eggs when the weather gets cold and here in Western New York, that is going to happen soon.
