With Ryan Serhant at the helm, you best believe Owning Manhattan Season 2 is going to feature some jaw-dropping real estate milestones. In fact, new SERHANT agent Peter Zaitzeff, whom Serhant poaches at the start of Season 2, delivers a record-breaking deal with the $60 million sale at 150 Charles in the West Village, marking the highest price ever paid on a downtown listing.

In Season 2, Episode 5—titled “Wolf of Wall Street”— we learn that the condos at 150 Charles only “trade off-market because they are so rare that there’s a waiting list to get in there,” per SERHANT agent Jessica Taylor. But with Zaitzeff working on one of those off-market listings, he is able to give exclusive access to Taylor and Jordan March, who stop by to check it out for their potential buyers.

The $60 million listing—complete with an additional $450,000 parking space—is nearly 6,000 square feet of prime real estate luxury. With an additional 3,000+ square feet of exterior terrace space, the property also features double-height ceilings, herringbone oak floors, and a custom eat-in kitchen, all done in a two-year, $6 million renovation.

While March boasts of his potential buyers—a “crypto guy,” “hedge funder,” “actor,” and a “big celebrity”—the episode fails to mention who he was specifically shopping for. When the realtor stopped by DECIDER’s studio ahead of the Season 2 premiere, he revealed that he had sent the listing to his old friends, Hailey Bieber and Benny Blanco, and both teams were “interested.”

“I have the most odd connection. I grew up with Hailey Bieber, or Hailey Baldwin, and her family,” March told us. “Her parents and my parents are super close. They did business with the church. We would even do Thanksgiving and holiday parties together. We did her dad’s surprise birthday party at my house back in the day.”

He continued, “The other irony is that before real estate, I was in school for music and audio production, and Benny Blanco was my comrade.”

March found it “ironic” that they were the two interested parties, seeing as Hailey’s husband, Justin Bieber, and Blanco’s wife, Selena Gomez, have a storied history together (they famously dated on-and-off for about eight years before finding their forever partners).

“I sent them both the deal. So, that’s actually who I was shopping for on that unit,” March added. “I would say both sides’ teams were genuinely interested in knowing more about the deal and actually working very quickly towards it.”

Unfortunately for March, Zaitzeff quickly sold the space for asking price (and a $1.8 million commission) by the end of Episode 5—even Serhant couldn’t secure the lofty deal for his buyer. While he was “surprised” at how fast it went off the market, he also knew the condo was a rare catch.

“Yeah, that was definitely one of one,” March said. “It never comes up. You don’t get views [like that]. You don’t get outdoor space in the West Village. So, that was a really unique property. I think any hot celebrity would have wanted to snatch up, for sure.”
