There are 6 of them across New York State that will split the $2.6 billion.

It is called the New York State Health Care Safety Net Transformation Program:

“Through this program, New York is encouraging partnerships with safety-net institutions by providing strategic capital and operating support, in addition to required regulatory flexibility, to improve the resilience and sustainability of safety-net hospitals and expand access to high quality care.”

The 6 hospitals are all over New York State ranging from New York City to Western New York.
