During a day in the Serhant office, Jess and her colleague Eric rushed over and asked to speak to Genesis immediately.

In the next scene, Jess sat down Genesis and asked why she was talking to her client, insisting “I’ve got the email.”

Genesis denied any wrongdoing, and said she stopped speaking with the woman after she realized she was already working with Jess.

“If one of your clients was reaching out to me, I would immediately call you guys and be like, ‘By the way, your owner is looking around,’” Jess countered back.

“You think I’m thinking about you? I’m not Jessica!” Genesis clapped back.

Genesis then left and told her boss, Nile Lundgren, what had been going on.

“These accusations could ruin my reputation,” Genesis fumed in a confessional.

Nile then confronted Jess and Eric, claiming the way they approached Genesis was “unacceptable.”

“You never come up to a woman in a business scenario, stand above her, and say ‘We need to talk,’” he fumed. “You don’t talk to her like that!”

Nile and Eric nearly came to blows before Jess stormed out of the room in tears.

“I hate this s**t so much!” she sobbed. “What the f**k was that?”

ON TEAM GENESIS

Fans of the show defended Genesis for standing up for herself, and Nile for supporting his team member – but slammed Jess for her “micro-aggressive” behavior.

“Jess’ behavior was despicable,” one fan said on Reddit.

“I think Jessica should have apologized to her for not having all the facts,” another wrote.

“Poaching a client is a serious offense in the real estate world. Making that kind of claim could be hurtful to someone’s career.”

“How could you not be embarrassed by showing the world how openly jealous and threatened you are of another agent?” fumed a third.

Another pointed out Jess’ change in tone when she confronted Genesis and then retold the story to Nile.

“Does she not know everything is being filmed?!” the fan asked.

The entire second season of Owning Manhattan is now available to stream on Netflix.
