NEW YORK – A fire broke out inside a six-story residential building on the Upper West Side, according to the FDNY.Â
Smoke could be seen billowing from the top of the building early Tuesday morning.Â

Officials say the fire began on the top floor of 201 West 107th Street, between Amsterdam Avenue, after a call came in at 8:20 a.m.
The fire spread across the top floor of the six-story building, leading the FDNY to issue a third alarm at 8:34 a.m.Â
Officials say dozens of crews responded and are working to get the flames under control.
