MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – A man was taken to an area hospital after he was injured in a three-vehicle collision late Monday morning at a Manhattan intersection, officials said.
The crash was reported around 11:28 a.m. Monday at N. 11th and Bertrand streets in Manhattan.
According to Riley County Police officials, a 1999 Ford F-350 pickup truck driven by Russell Thompson, 65, collided with a 2003 Chevrolet truck driven by James Posch, 64, in the intersection.

The Chevrolet was then pushed into a 2013 Toyota RAV4, driven by Korie Kirkwood, 20, officials said.
Posch was transported to Ascension Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan for treatment of his injuries and also was issued a citation for failing to stop at a stop sign.
No other injuries were reported.
